Hello,

As per your complaints, you had severe leg pain, the probable causes could be Deep Vein Thrombosis, or nerve irritation like sciatica.

To know exact cause you have to go for following investigations:
1. Radiological examination
2. Neurological tests (nerve conduction tests)
3. Complete blood picture

If no specific abnormalities are found, you can go for the following treatment:
1. Use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
2. Use pain killer sprays
3. Physiotherapy can help

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vamsi Krishna Chittimoju
