Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe leg pain while on Levofloxacin . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptoms are probably due to levofloxacin as its side effects . This medicine known to cause pain, inflammation, or swelling in the calves of the legs, shoulders, or hands as its side effects . So i would suggest you to consult your doctor and discuss the condition with him . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute . For now apply warm compresses to leg and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
