What Causes Severe Lower Abdominal Pain And Headache Post Hip Replacement Surgery?
I had a sudden onset of severe pain in my lower abdomen this afternoon. I thought maybe gas but it has not really receded. I also have a severe headache. no fever. I had hip replacement surgery 5 weeks ago & developed a blood clot. I am now on warfarin.

Hi,
The developed blood clot may be causing the abdominal pain but headache may be associated with the spinal anesthesia given for surgery to avoid this you can take tablet Espazine 1 BD for 7 days and lots of fluid orally.
