Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing very sharp pains in lower left tummy area. Right at my spleen. They did a CT and found nothing wrong with Spleen. The pains are worse right after I eat so I am thinking maybe the intestinal tract. I was diagnosed with Celiac back in 1997 in a civilian hospital but around 2007 I was told I did not have Celiac by the Veteran s Hospital. What do you think?
Hello sir/madam hope the answer helps you.As far as Iam getting you are having sharp abdominal pain that gets worse after eating as you didnt tell about your bowel habits being constipated or not and any histroy of abdominal surgery in past,as one of thing with left lower abdominal pain can be diverticular disease of bowel but luckily you have a CT scan done which is perfectly normal. If you have excess flatus or borbogymi then pain can also be very confusing like that and can be troublesome and start taking plenty of water with high fiber diet along with AGIOLAX powder. No worries as you have been diagnosed dilametic celiac disease with these remedies and walk essentially 45 mins daily the pain doesnt resolve you can go for a screening colonoscpoic examination in consult with gastroenterologist.
