What Causes Severe Lower Back And Spinal Pain?

I have had a lingering cough for almost 4 weeks now. Went to the doctor an received a nasal spray for post nasal drip. Now my lower back is in really bad pain and one side has a small bump under the skin. My spine is also very sore. What should I do? Can these be related to the cough

I really appreciate your concern, because of the cough bout it could be muscular spasm may develops and this could be cause the muscular pain of back side but it can only happens when it is the sever cough is there hope this information helps.
