What Causes Severe Lower Back Pain Post A Surgery?
I had major lower back surgery about 4 months ago a disc was removed from the L4 and L3. I am not sure, but I think the surgery went very well, the question I have. Why do I still experience severe pain all around the the spine, but not directly on the spine. I take pain meds but still experience severe pain.
I do understand your pain and discomfort. As per your history is concerned your problem has many pathological reasons ,as you have already done surgery for herniated disc so before telling clearly what causes your back pain we need some investigations:

What Causes Severe Lower Back Pain Post A Surgery?
Hi, I do understand your pain and discomfort. As per your history is concerned your problem has many pathological reasons ,as you have already done surgery for herniated disc so before telling clearly what causes your back pain we need some investigations: 1) Full blood count with differential & ESR 2) Do an Ultrasound exam full abdomen 3) ECG/ECHO I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best. Thanks, Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
