What Causes Severe Lower Left Quadrant Pain When Diagnosed With Diverticulosis?
I had surgery due to a fistula about four years age, have had bowel problems. they had to take out the fistula from my sigmoid colon and rearrange, I guess, because it had caused the diverticula to attach to my uterus. I am now 78 and am having very severe pain in the left lower quadrant. I also have spinal stenosis so I confuse one pain from the other. But now I am worried that I might have an infection due to whatever is going on. I had a CT scan in May and it did not have anything to show for it except diverticulosis and kidney stone in the right kidney. What do you think? I am seeing primary care tomorrow since my gastro doctor is too busy so his secretary says.
