What Causes Severe Migraine Headaches Along With Muscle Weakness In Legs?

Have had a headache that turned in to migraines for a few weeks. Now I have migraines 4-5 times a day for like 2 hours each! Hurts in my face and now down my neck and all around my head. I get confused and have muscle weakness in my legs. What can this be? Went to the ER but they just give pain meds and send home. Thanks

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may want to consider seeing your GP for assessment to make sure that your headaches are truly migraines, there are certain criteria that need to be fulfilled.

IF they are migraines then you may need prophylactic medication along with your pain medication.
Prophylactic medications are those that prevent the headaches or reduce the frequency of occurrence.

Your doctor can prescribe one for you.

I hope this helps
