What Causes Severe Migraine While Suffering From A Subdural Hematoma?

Hi, my name is Jess and I had a TBI w a Subdural Hematoma diagnosed in July 2017 I was hospitalized for 2 days and released! Since then I have had conic migraines and multiple CT s have shown that the bleed has grown to 10mm and is compressing the brain 5mm! Up until last Saturday I was never told to see a Neuro Surgeon! Is this thing going to need surgery?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible, since the bleeding is expanding and affecting surrounding brain tissue , that you may need a neurosurgeon for assessment.

The neurosurgeon may opt to monitor but at least you would have been assessed by someone who can assist you.

I hope this helps
