What Causes Severe Muscle Cramps In The Hands After Treatment Of Hypokalemia?

I am having severe muscle cramps in hands and arms secondary to treatment for hypoklemia. My hands started cramping in the ED while receiving an IV with 20 mEq of K. Told nurse and dr who blew me off sent home with oral K. Every time I take oral K I start with severe cramps in hands and arms. What to do to get rid of this pain.

as the potassium level increases in your body and then balances after some times , it's normal , take the medicines in time, and after some days u r not going to feel such things, also take the medicines after a full meal , and relax
