What Causes Severe Muscle Spasms While On Levodopa And Carbidopa?
I have recently been diagnosed as having parkinson s disease and have started a regimine of taking carbidopa-levadopa 3 times daily and will be increasing to 4 times daily next week. I have noticed that I have more muscle ache and was concerned that it might be a side affect of the medication.

It is not related to your routine drugs.
It could be a simple muscular pain.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persists you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.
