What Causes Severe Muscle Stiffness In The Body While Having Diabetes?

I have type 1 diabetes, and take long and short acting insulin. On saturday my daughter tried to wake me. BG was about 26, I get uncooperative so she phoned the FD. My question is, sunday I woke up, and most every muscle in my body is rigid. Should I not be surprised?

the signs you are describing are found after an hypoglycemic accident, explained BY the DIABETIC TREATMENT you are using (INSULIN)
I urge u to consult an endocrinologist to stabilize your diabetes and your use of insulin.A dietician also seems to me an important contribution to avoid hypoglycemic accident with INSULIN.
