What Causes Severe Nasal Bleeding While Coughing?
Nose started bleeding profusely about an hour ago right after I coughed. There was so much blood that I couldn t tell which nostril it was from, but it seemed like both. Leaning forward didn t keep it from going down my throat and I had to vomit lots of blood. I ve been pinching it for an hour, but it still feels like it is bleeding. It s not going down the back of my throat, but if I hold my head up instead of forward, it feels like a huge clot will give way. I don t have anyone to help me.

If the bleeding is continuing and has been for the past hour then you need to be seen and assessed by your doctor.
The nasal passages need to be assessed and packing may need to be done.
Need to avoid aspirin and other NSAIDs (Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Cataflam etc).
