What Causes Severe Nasal Congestion While On Hydroxyzine Pamoate?

I am a veteran diagnosed with chronic, severe PTSD and a severe sleep apnea. I have been prescribed, Hydroxyzine Pamoate for anxiety in place of my long term use of lorazepam. I am experiencing extreme nasal congestion when sleeping and unable to breathe, through my nose, either with or without my CPAP.This has never been an issue in the past, and Hydroxyzine is the only change in my med s. Is Hydoxyzine most likely the culprit here?

This side effect of nasal congestion has not been reported of hydroxyzine.Considering your sleep apnea and anxiety its better to change hydroxyzine after consulting with your psychotherapist.
