What Are The Complications Of Taking Anesthesia While Suffering From Nasal Congestion?
I have a lot of nasal congestion (many causes, too many cures to deal with--that probably won t help anyway). I m looking at knee replacement surgery within the next year or two and would like to know what sort of complications and considerations there might be with anesthesia due to the nasal congestion.
There are not any complications due to nasal congestion, because during general anesthesia, breathing is realized by means of a breathing tube, put in your airways, far away from your nose nostrils.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
