What Causes Severe Night Sweats While On Prednisone?
My Mom who is 92 and was on Predisone for about a month but now is only taking a small amount has also developed Diabetes. Since then has had terrible night sweats to the point she changes pjs and sheets. What s going on and what can be done to help? Thank you!

As per your description of events of your mom, it could be due to:
1. Side effect of drug prednisone
2. or since she is being diagnosed with diabetes and if she takes some anti-diabetic medication, that can also causes profuse night sweats
Get her sugar level recorded along with blood pressure.
Also, stop prednisone for few days to check if the night sweats stop or not.
