What Causes Severe Night Sweats?

I am a 73 yo male. I am experiencing very severe night sweats. I have a hx of hyperlipidemia, low level hypertension, hyperglycemia (morning stick typically 135). In December 2013 I had an emergency appendectomy with resultant septicemia followed by a pseudomonas pneumonia. I was hospitalized for 6 weeks. One week after discharge I was re-admitted with brockage of a coronary artery located out at the apex in a vessel that was too narrow to stent. A balloon angioplasty was performed and I was discharged after 3 days. During the cardiac cath and subsequent echo I was found to have a severely stenosed aortic valve. In April 2014 I had my aortic valve replaced. I was accepted into a national study and the valve was replaced using a TAVR procedure. I am a little over 6 months out from the procedure and have been told at my interval follow-up visits that the valve is functioning very well. Roughly 6 weeks after the TAVR I entered a cardiac rehabilitation program. I take the following med: Metformin 500; Clopedigrel 75 mg; Baaby Aspirin; Nefidical 30 mg; Atorvastatin 40 mg; Valsartan 80 mg; Metorpolol 25 mg x 2. I take all of my meds in the AM with the exception of the Metoprolol, which I take AM and PM. Can you explain the night sweats I experience?
