What Causes Severe Nose Bleed And Shooting Pain In Right Elbow?
This afternoon I had a really bad nose bleed. It lasted for around 10 minutes before I got it to stop. A couple minutes after the bleeding stopped, My elbow on my right arm started getting shooting pain. I just woke up around 8 hours later with another nose bleed. Though this one stopped within about a minute of starting and wasn t much blood. My arm is still hurting very bad though. Would it be okay to take Alieve or ibuprofen for the pain in my elbow or would it make my nose bleed again?
As per my clinical experience, the heavy episodes of bleeding nose do indicate possible issues with high blood pressure most likely. The shooting pain involving elbow may be of concern with possible nerve compression, brachial plexus issues or others. Intake of Aleve or ibuprofen can help to reduce pain to some extent and would not exacerbate nose bleeding in single dose.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
