My husband has had three severe nosebleeds. Lasting from 10 minutes to the last one that lasted 40 minutes that it took an ER doctor and three nurses to get under control. His blood pressure was 198/ 120 in the ER. Was he about to have a stroke? He is a cancer survivor any connection? He has never had any BP problems before now - why all of a sudden?
Hi, thanks for your query. According to your history nose bleed is because of high BP. Once the bp reduces the nose bleed will automatically reduce. Apart from high BP, there are other reasons for nose bleed. Next probable cause may be reduced platelet count following this cancer treatment. This needs medical evaluation and treatment. Consult with the doctor and get treated.
