What Causes Severe Pain Along With Lump On Hip?

i fell down the stairs and now my hip hurts and there s a huge lump there that hasn t gone away in over a year, I m in grave pain everyday since. What could it be? It was a fall at work and I ve been fight with my job for an x-Ray/MRI and I m in so much pain I need to know what possibly is going on the lump has grown much bigger and the pain has gotten a lot worse please help me. Thank you for your time.

Hi,

You need to get an X-ray or MRI of affected hip region, to exclude fracture after fall, possible infection and swelling after an unattended fracture. Consultation of an orthopedic surgeon with the reports would offer you needful suitable treatment for the problem.
