What Causes Severe Pain And Bleeding Post Sex While On IUD?
hi I am 38 yrs old female and have had a lot of problems regarding my reproductive system. I was 18 when I had a termination(not by choice) and ended up with pelvic inflammatory disease not long after I had stage two cancer cells removed from my cervix afer that I have had a long history of endemetriosis misscarriages and one other termination which I was advised by my GP to do as my health in that department was not good,ie. unstable periods etc. they put me back on the pill and took me off it to try depo provera that certainly didnt work so by the time I was 28 they opted to tie my tubes to stablise my monthlies. for a while that worked. About 5yrs ago my period started to become irregular again and so painful my GP had me on endon just to ease the pain. They then sent me to a specialist and I asked for a hysterectomy as I have no plans on having any more children and my husband is infirtile so on those basis I put forth my request and i pretty much got a no from specialist and told me she was going to put a intra uterine device in because as she put it I have 1 put in and I think its fantastic and thats the best thing for you. They did the proceedure august last year and ive had nothing but problems I didnt stop bleeding for over 4 months my husband can feel it on the very odd occasion we have intercourse and its quite painful for him not to mention me. I get the same pain as if im having a full blown period and after sex i bleed I am now I have noticed i am loosing clear fluid with blood in it what do I do I know something is very wrong.
