Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have blood in my urine. This has been going on for 4 months now, I ve received antibiotics and have been checked for kidney stones and had a CT with contrast. This has been performed in the ER and I have yet to see a urologist. The pain that I am experiencing is 10 currently.
Hi Welcome to HCM. I can understand your problem. Apparently the pain n blood in the are suggestive of bleeding either frim kidney, ureter, or urinary bladder the most common cause being stones in the urinary tract. The size n location and other complications have to be defined by an ultrasound n the treatment depends upon the report. Meanwhile take plenty of oral fluids, NSAID pain killers , Antospasmodic and urinary alkalinizer like sodium citrate. Consult your urology surgeon after the results. Best of your health.
