What Causes Severe Pain And Cracking Sensation In Neck?
I am having serious neck pain and clicking. I went to a chiropractor who just suggested I come back once a week for adjustments and went to an outpatient/urgent care where the doc just gave me some pain killer. It s been at least 3 months and no relief or healing. I had no injury or trauma that I am aware of, is it just age - I m 46, and otherwise healthy, or could there be some underlying issue?
Hello. I am Dr. Praveen and I will be answering your question today.
You could be having a cervical spondylosis. If I was treating you I would ask for an xray of the cervical spine. Since its been there for around 3 months I feel you should get it evaluated by an orthopedician. Degenerative bone disease is quite common at your age group.
Wishing you good health. Please feel free to drop in any more queries if need be. Take care. Warm regards, Dr Praveen Jeyapathy
