What Causes Severe Pain And Itching Of Ganglion Cyst Present On Wrist?
Have what looks like 2 ganglion cysts on left wrist. One tiny one near where pulse would be. Never bothers me. Also slightly larger one on side of wrist in line with that thumb. Occasionally, like tonight, it itches like mad and aches a little. Is this typical or something to concern asking my PMD about?

Ganglion cysts can become inflamed or infected. This can result with increased pain.
If it is simply inflamed or irritated then the use of anti inflammatory pain medication would help.
This includes medications such as naproxen, cataflam, ibuprofen
The application of a warm compress to the area may also help as well.
