What Causes Severe Pain And Numbness In The Fingers After A Dog Bite?
I Was Bitten severely by a dog two months ago I received heavy antibiotics and about 15 stitches IN my arm.my arm and some fungers wuth oartscof my hand was totally numb it s hard for me too move my fingers and fully straighten out my hand because of the severity of the dog bite. one of the butes which was yhe worsy is still hurting bad and still feel swollen is that normal I feel like the numbness is starting to wear off so is that why I m feeling more pain..I also am a dental assistant so I work a lot with my hands could that be also why my healing is slow
Hello Dear. There is a possibility of injury to any of the nerves of hand. That is the reason there could be numbness. Nerve injury takes about 6 months or a year to heal. Sometimes the damage may be permanent.
I hope you have taken all the doses of Rabipur injection. The normal schedule is 0,3,7,14,29.. At least 5 injections have to be taken
Consult a physician who may give you neurobion tablets or injection for nerve strength
