I saw an ortho dr 5 days ago for severe knee pain with fairly sudden onset,, altho i ve had some stiffness there for a few months. He took x rays, said i have arthritis, and suggested a shot of hyuralic acid. When i requested more info re this, he handed me a pamphlet and prescribed nambumetone 500mg, 2/day with dinner. It is now the start of day five, and I have had no relief; in fact, the pain is so severe, especially at night, that i cannot get comfortable in bed, and am awakened several times with the throbbing. what should i do? I cant believe this drug is not working at all!
