What Causes Severe Pain And Stiffness In The Knees?

Hi, I have been on Celecoxib for the past 7 months due to cervical disc issues and occiptal nerve pain in the back of my head. They had me on this to get away from so much Advil. I am have surgery on 7/25 for the 4 dics that are herniated in my neck so i had to stop taking it on Wednesday. Starting Thursday evening both my knee joints and both hip joints are in severe pain and at night the knees are getting so stiff it is hard to get up and walk. Is this a result of not being on Celecoxib?
