Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am have intermittent pain in my right lung near my breast. It does hurt mostly when I breath, then it starts to hurt in dull to sharp. Then sometimes it just starts to throb even when I am sitting down, and if I try to bend over or move incorrectly it will become a sharp pain. I don t know whether its just allergies acting up or may bronchitis again.
I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms are typical of a musculo-skeletal pain, probably local inflammation, including costochondritis.
For this reason, I would recommend using local warm packs and taking Ibuprofen to help against the pain. If the pain persists, I would recommend performing further tests: complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation, a chest X-ray study.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
