What Causes Severe Pain Behind The Head?
my 18 year old has had a few episodes of sudden pain and extreme heat hit her in the back of her head which has made her tear up because is hurt so bad. She said it felt like something popped and then severe heat was released in her head. She then had the feeling of her head feeling very heavy and uncomfortable. She also feels like her concentration and memory are being effected in school.

Neurological examination also should be done..
Check thyroid status by serum TSH, T4 estimation.
If needed after examination then CT scan like higher investigation might planned
