What Causes Severe Pain Behind The Left Eye After Exercising?
After short bursts of strenuous exercise with increased heart rate, I sometimes get a really intense pain behind my left eye. It seems to be coming from the sinus, and has happened on 2 separate occasions. The intense pain lasts for maybe 5 seconds, but there is a dull ache for an indeterminate amount of time afterwards.

Eye pain. Sharp or sudden pain in the eye is usually due to debris in or around the eye. Sharp pain can also be caused by more serious conditions such as uveitis or glaucoma.
