What Causes Severe Pain In Abdomen?

Hi im 29year old married women. Ater taking this tablet to stop my period for a day. The same night it started bleeding only once and then stopped after that severe stomach pain and abdomen pain couldnt sleep the whole night. And neither the periods starts. Please advise. I m scared because few weeks back in a fight my husband kicked on my stomach continuously for 6times nearly. And after that incident got my period cycle now. I haven t seen a doctor yet. Is this something to worry. Is this pain due to the medicine or my husband.

Hello,

I don't think this abdominal pain is due to your husband because he kicked 6 weeks back.

This sudden onset abdominal pain is mostly due to hormonal imbalance caused by that pill.

So better to consult a gynaecologist and get done a clinical examination and hormone levels.

You may need hormone pills to regulate hormones. Once your hormones normalize, you will be alright.

Also get done ultrasound examination of the abdomen to rule out abdominal causes for your pain.
