What Causes Severe Pain In Arm Post Plate Surgery?

i had arm surgery where dr took out 6/7 inches if bone out and put in a plate surgery was two and half months ago arm is now swollen hurts alot i can not even hold a slice of bread cause it hurts so much wenr to general dr she said i had a break in bone and that it didnt heal as it was expected she put in soft cast but still hav pain alot

You may visit your surgeon and x ray be done for exact position of bone union and plate.when there is infection. then too local marrow infection pressure builds up giving pain and swelling of operated site.This shoul also be ruled out.
If your GP has given a soft cast it is okay to support it.Take aleve or motrin till you get appointment with your surgeon
