What Causes Severe Pain In Back Along With Bloating Of Abdomen?

I am female 67 years old good healt generally. Urine infection six weeks ago treated with antibiotics, but had severe back pain at same tim3, causing me to shake with pain wnd unable to move. Doctor sqid old i jury from previous trauma, anti inflammatorys and pain killers. Settled down a little but now have bloating, upset tummy, feels like insides on fire and severe back pa7n again, so bad feel fqint with it, can you help, buscopan and ubruprofen tqking edge of pain.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe pain in back along with bloating of abdomen . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like celiac disease , endometriosis , fibromyalgia , kidney stones , ovarian cyst or urinary tract infection . I would suggest you to consult gynecologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound and treat it accordingly . Doctor may also refer you to urologist for UTI or nephroloist for kidney problem . For now apply warm compresses to back , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and avoid food that cause bloating like cabbage and broccoli .
