What Causes Severe Pain In Both The Legs And Hips For Two Years?

I have a lot of pain in both my legs and hips. It is sometimes a stabbing pain but mostly burning/stinging pain. They hurt most all the time. Also I have a tingling, sleep like feeling in my upper back, just below my neck, this just happens sometimes. I don t have it all the time. The tingling just started about 4-5 months ago, but my legs have been hurting for about 2 years. I went to an Orthopedic doctor and he told me to see my MD and he told me to see an Orthopedic specialist. I don t know where/who to see next. No one seems to care about this.

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Tramadol for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated to rule out possible causes like arthritis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
