Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Pain In Fibula Radiating To Toes?
I had severe pain in my right fibula closer to the knee on the side than to the toes for months. I massage it all the time, one day I found the root of the psi and I indulged in the spot by pushing really hard against it to relieve the pain. The next thing a dark coloured lump on the side of my leg (fibula bone) has emerged and refused to disappear. I know it s not normal,
Severe pain near fibula could be due to bony lesion eg cyst, tumor etc. I suggest you to consult an orthopedist for clinical assessment, X-ray, CT scan and thus management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
