Hello,

The following are probable causes of your pain:
1) Sciatic nerve compression
2) Avascular necrosis of femoral head
3) Femoral neck fracture
4) Groin injury
5) Urinary tract infection
6) Inguinal hernia

The area needs to be examined in person to make an accurate diagnosis. Please do consult a general physician for further examination and evaluation. For pain relief, now you can take NSAIDs like ibuprofen or Naproxen daily twice. To prevent gastric irritation you can take tab. Pantop daily before food.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
