What Causes Severe Pain In Groin With Numb Thighs While Having L5 S1 Herniation?
Hi I have an L5 S 1 herniation I had a caudal epidural block done a yr ago even though it worked for me considering the pain previously m still in pain every day but its manageable for the last 2 days I m experiencing unnatural groin pain numbness in my thighs and electric like shocks coming out my knees and ankles any advice would be greatly appreciated thank u
The herniated disc on L5 and S1 you are having may be causing the compression on the nerve. The compression gives you the numbness and the pain on leg. You may need surgery to treat herniation.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
