What Causes Severe Pain In Heel And Ankle Joint?
my foot started to hurt yesterday on he outside edge. it got progressively worse into the evening and woke me up a few times last night. Today it has gotten so bad I can t walk. The pain is still on the outside but seems to be also coming from the top where the foot joins the ankle.

As per your history I can suggest that you have to take diclofenac potassium for local relief of pain. Most importantly kindly get any X-ray done of the injured foot as this will rule out any fracture. Apply a crepe bandage to immobilize the ankle joint as this is the weight bearing joint so you have to be cautious. Don't stand for long as this might aggrevate the pain. You can get hot saline fermentation of injure foot done.
Don't worry you can consult any nearby orthopaedician for further workup.
