General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the Qsymia contains combination of Phenteramine an appetite suppressor and Topiramate as an anti convulsant property. The side effects of the Qsymia are many and the common ones are:
- Dizziness
- Insomnia
- Headache
- Body ache
- Constipation
- Dry mouth
- Tingling sensation

The severe pain in joints are in concern with sudden withdrawal of Qsymia, which should have been tapered gradually over a period of 3-4 weeks for smooth outcome.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
