General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are suggested to continue doing physical exercises under a Physiotherapist. Severe pain in knee associated with pain radiating to the ankle is indicative of OA, RA, sciatica, tendonitis, torn meniscus, etc. Medical conditions like gout and infections also can cause knee pain. Physical therapy and knee braces effectively relieve knee pain. Massage therapy and NSAIDS work well. Get clinically examined by a GP. Get all investigations(blood workouts, imaging tests) done & treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
