Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a former body builder but have not lifted weights for fifteen years or more. Over the past few moths I have noticed pain in my left arm. This has worsened to the point of extreme pain, particularly when laying on my left side in bed and when having to raise my arm above my head when dressing / undressing. There are two specific points in my arm where it feels most problematic. These are the Humerus bone and side deltoid muscle. Because the pain is worsening I am concerned that it may be arthritis (I am now 66 years old). What do you think may be the cause?
