What Causes Severe Pain In Left Side Radiating To Vagina Post Kidney Stone Removal?
Hello, on April 8, 2016 I had kidney stones removed with a stent inserted. When I woke from the surgery I was in severe pain. Till today I am still experiencing pain on my left side radiating down to the vaginal area. What would be causing this pain.
Hi, Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here
Normally, a urethral stent re-establishes the flow of urine from the kidney to the bladder but Postoperative urine flow should be monitored to ensure the stent has not been dislodged or obstructed if you have normal urine flow and there is no urgency ,no frequent urination ,there is no pain while urination than your pain might be related to something else and should be investigated completely to rule out its exact cause and if you experience any of above symptoms than i would strongly suggest you to see Your Urologist to further evaluate the position and urine flow through stent to rule out any obstruction or dislodgement
I hope it help Thanks & Get well Soon
