Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Pain In Legs Along With Elevated WBC Count?
I can not walk much more than 100 feet without much pain,my blood sugar is avg.90,siting only helps after about 30 min. have had bilater aota bipass.also left cor. dics. neck c 1 brocken c3 no pade left.mod nerrow of lower spine.white count is always high.
Your symptoms could be suggestive of a spinal canal stenosis or a peripheral arteriopathy (narrowing of the leg arteries). For this reason, I recommend performing first a Doppler ultrasound of the leg vessels. If its results are okay, the next step would be performing a new spine MRI. Consulting with a neurologist or a spinal surgeon may be needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
