What Causes Severe Pain In Lower Back And Hip Post Spinal Stenosis Surgery?

i have spinal stenosis and have had surgery on my spine before. this past weekend, i got out of bed and immediately felt pain in my hips, lower back and could not stand upright due to the pain. when i walk or stand it is very painful. i have been taking a drug for muscle spasms in the evening, but it doesn t really seem like they re helping all that much. this has been going on for 5 days now. should i see my doctor?

HI
Well come to HCM
This could be neuromuscular pain, may be due to the spinal disease that you have, pain can be managed with NSIAD and B12 and the best drug would be Tab tramadol with Acetaminophen three times in day and vitamin B12 supplement, of course you can have opinion form neurophysician for further management, hope this information helps, take care.
