What Causes Severe Pain In Lower Back, Hips And Thighs After Taking Cozaar?

i am experiencing a lot of pain in my lower back, hips, & thighs since I began taking cozaar. My doctor changed me to cozaar from lotrel as I had a continual cough with lotrel. Is there an alternative to cozaar & lotrel that doesn t have the same side effects as these two medicines?

tab lotrel contains amlodipine which has got side effect of pulmonary edema sometimes. tab cozaar has got losartan which can also cause cough but to a lesser degree and muscular weakness thats why patients experience pain sometimes. i would suggest to continue this tab cozaar but improve your diet and activity level as probably you may be taking it for hypertension which can be controlled with healthy activity and lifestyle modifications.
