What Causes Severe Pain In Lower Back Radiating To The Shin And Foot?

hi ive been dealing with a problem in my lower back pain that started shooting down my leg. my foot tingles and i have a very bad pain that in my shin /calf area when i walk and stand for more than a few minutes which can only be relieved when i sit..ive been to the dr.s and he had me do physical therapy and i have had shots in my lower back..it seems that nothing is working..i did some research on the web and found that my symptoms are the same as neurogenic claudication and happens to people usually over the age of 60 which kind of sucks cause im 37..i have smoked for 23 years and i seen that smoking is a cause for it too along with other things.if you have any thoughts or suggestions please respond back... p.s. i am overwieght too

you have symptoms of lumbar spondilytis. In this condition there is compression of the nerve roots comming out of the vertebrae which leads to shooting type of pain.
You need orthopedic opinion.
