Hello dear and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Chronic pain in the low back often involves a disc problem, a joint problem, and/or an irritated nerve root.

Common causes include lumbar herniated disc.

I suggest to do an xray of the colon for further evaluation.

Meanwhile, I suggest to use anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards!
