What Causes Severe Pain In My Son S Testicle?

hi my 7 yr old for past 2 days has had a reaaly sore testicle he just got up to go to toilet n im not sure if due to him pulling down his pj trousers or the need to wee has made him yelp in pain he has went back to sleep no prob but ive googled n panicking

Hi,

Acute painful testes is an emergency situation that needs immediate evaluation and treatment to avoid complications. Possibilities are infection (epidydymo-orchitis) or obstruction of blood supply (testicular torsion). In such cases, depending on examination findings, I used to order a urine microscopy and ultrasound and treat accordingly. Kindly see your doctor without delay. Meanwhile give him paracetamol for pain relied and avoid tight undergarments/jeans
