Suggest Treatment For Epididymal Cyst On The Testicle Causing Severe Pain
Doc I have been diagnosed of epididymal cyst on right testicle.. it causes pain.... what shall I do ......family doc told its benign later after marriage it can be removed by surgery....after surgery whether it causes erectile dysfunction and sexual problems. Thank youin advance for considering this message.. ..
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Epididymal cyst is a fluid-filled sac which grows at the top end of the testicle. It may be caused by obstruction of the tubes that carry sperm from the testicles. Treatment is not usually needed if the cyst does not change in size or gets smaller as the body reabsorbs the fluid. You can take analgesic medications when you have pain. If the cyst gets larger or causes discomfort, a procedure to remove the cyst may be needed. It does not contribute to erectile dysfunction or sexual problems during its presence or later after its removal. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
