What Causes Severe Pain In Neck Post Neck Surgery?
I had neck surgery and still have severe pain, my fusion was 10/30/14. I m on zohydro er, Norco 10/325, and once in a while 5 mg morphine prn, flexerall and Valium. Was on fentnyl patch. It seems I take all these Meds with little relief. What should I really be taking?
IN short: Pain management is of surgeon/anaesthetist
Explanation: Any surgery can cause severe pain like this. So, as you are taking morphine also nothing can be more strong pain killer than morphine. I think you should ask your doctor to increase dosage/frequency of morphine for your pain relief. And do not take yourself, pain management is left to anaesthetist and surgeon and please ask them now.
